This is less of an exposition and more of a request.

At the beginning of the year, a close friend of mine and I had a huge misunderstanding. By not giving the benefit of the doubt, a large part of that mutual trust has been broken too.

Since then we have not fellowshipped, though quite a number of times we did cross paths. It feels like such a pity to me—what started as such a Christ-exalting friendship has diminished into essentially just strangers.

During these two months, I have learnt much. On loving myself, giving people the benefit of the doubt and cherishing the constants in my life, never taking them for granted.

I’ve also been recently re-convicted that God can do impossible things and the promises He made that seem impossible are ‘Yes’ and ‘Amen’ and because my trust is in Him, He ensures that all these things will come to pass.

This severed friendship does seem impossible to mend, but God can do impossible things. In fact, when God restores, I have faith that our friendship will be even stronger than before, because Christ is the centre of it.

Please pray alongside me for a 120% restoration of my friendship and much more added on top of that.
